Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project

Building Support for Youth Health

CTAOP’s fourth annual Block Party brought together supporters at the Universal Studios Backlot to advance the organization’s mission of investing in the health and safety of young people in Southern Africa.

Hosted by Charlize Theron, the benefit celebrated the upcoming release of Twisters, with performances by Lainey Wilson and Tanner Adell and a conversation featuring South African activists Neo Mohajane and Miché Williams.

Earlier in the year, an intimate fundraising dinner at Chateau Marmont brought together Charlize Theron, Colleen Camp, Kate Stirling, Kelly Hallman, and CTAOP supporters to raise support for the organization’s work.

ZEITZ Foundation

Mobilizing Support for Rhino Conservation

The U.S. Segera Rhino Sanctuary Campaign fundraiser brought together art and philanthropy at Sibylle Szaggars Redford Fine Art in Santa Fe. Hosted by Robert and Sibylle Redford alongside Jochen Zeitz and Kate Garwood Zeitz, the gathering raised awareness and support for the ZEITZ Foundation’s work to establish one of the world’s largest rhino sanctuaries.

Participating artists—including Murray Grant, Harland Miller, Nick Brandt, David Crookes and Nicola Jackson, Cristina Mittermeier, Paul Nicklen, Michael Poliza, and David Yarrow—donated works, with all proceeds from artwork sales benefiting the sanctuary campaign.

Lonely Whale

Advancing Ocean Innovation

A gathering at the Los Angeles home of Phillip Sarofim celebrated Lonely Whale’s work to prevent ocean plastic waste through the TOM FORD Plastic Innovation Prize and Accelerator.

Alongside prize judges Phillip Sarofim, Trudie Styler, and Livia Firth, and co-founder Lucy Sumner, the celebration brought attention to the people and ideas advancing solutions to ocean plastic pollution.

Center for Art & Advocacy

Expanding Visibility for Justice-Impacted Artists

Throughout 2024, gatherings in Los Angeles, Aspen, and Miami highlighted the Center for Art & Advocacy’s work to expand access to resources, mentorship, and opportunities for justice-impacted artists.

During Frieze Los Angeles, America Ferrera joined Jesse Krimes and Gary Tyler for a conversation about art, advocacy, and the barriers justice-impacted artists face within traditional institutions and arts communities. RDF Consulting also supported celebrations surrounding the Frieze Impact Prize at Gigi’s, recognizing artists and advocates whose work challenges systems and inspires cultural dialogue.

At Aspen Art Week, Krimes and Tyler shared their artistic journeys and reflected on the role of art in driving social change. The conversation highlighted the Center’s funded fellowships, mentorship programs, and platforms for artistic development.

During Art Basel Miami Beach, RDF Consulting managed a gathering for the Center, driving attendance and increasing visibility. The program honored Jesse Krimes’s recent solo exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Jack Shainman Gallery and brought together artists, fellows, and supporters.

Horizon Empowers

Connecting Community with a Global Mission

A gathering at Soho House West Hollywood highlighted Horizon Empowers’ initiatives supporting children and young people in Kenya, Honduras, and Guatemala.

Co-founder and board member Nicole Scott shared the organization’s mission to break cycles of poverty by supporting orphaned and vulnerable children and at-risk youth on their paths toward self-sufficiency. The conversation introduced the community to Horizon’s work and the people it serves.

RDF Consulting’s Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Our annual Juneteenth celebration brought together artists, cultural leaders, and community members to recognize the contributions of Black artists. A panel featuring Joy Simmons, Essence Harden, and Autumn Breon examined the connections between art, activism, and social change, creating space for conversation and connection.
